If you haven't noticed, our cynical kid is not in the strip today. Unfortunately he's been ordered a day or so of bed rest.
It seems in researching a topic to make fun of this week, he came across an issue of this month's Oprah Magazine.
Reportedly the article contained an interview with Sean Penn which called him "one of the greatest actors of this generation."
The paramedics said the hysterical fit that followed was fairly typical after reading ANY article about Mr. Penn. Strange that....
So, look for Kid 28 to be back soon. We regret no topically relevant pop culture icons were picked on this week.
And remember if you must read Oprah Magazine, please use a condom.
