At the arcade on a typical Friday night...
Hey dude! want to know my latest intel to do with particles and rates of reaction?
Um...
Well first let me tell you about what happens when you change the pressure. There will be more reactant particles in the same volume thus there is a greater chance of the particles colliding. Wow!
Um...
Ok, I can see you don't like pressure. Want to know about how particles are to temperatures? I'll tell you anyway. The reactant particles move more quickly, and again they collide but are successful.

So therefore, if my interpretation of this subject is correct, by increasing the number of collisions per second, or the frequency or probability, increases the rate of reaction
Um...
I knew you would be intrigued by this fascinating topic! Did I mention catalysts before? Well basically it increases the rate of reaction without being used up. They lower the activation energy.
Um...
I'd show you what an activation energy graph looks like but my image projector is currently being updated. Basically the catalysts it increases rate of reaction which means more products are made.
Um...

Also, the reaction can be carried out at a lower temperature reducing the energy cost. Very interesting! We use catalysts in changing vegetable oil into margarine, etc.
Um...
Oh no! I forgot to mention that if the concentration of pressure is doubled, so will the rate. It can even quadruple! When you increase the concentration, the particles are close thus there is more col
Ahhhhh!!!
Um...
SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!! It's bad enough with our MOCH exams coming up after the holidays without you going geeky on me!!! Now be quiet, I've had enough chemistry lessons to last me a lifetime!
