No, I didn't. Doesn't WalMart run a lot of small businesses out of town?

Sometimes. They could always get a new job at WalMart though, right?
Probably, but is that fair?

A job is a job... They should be happy they have one.

Why bother? Everything seems fine.
Not really. Medical bills are killing the lower and middle classes.
Medical bills don't kill people, diseases kill people.

That's easy. They aren't smart enough to have a voice.
What makes you say that?
Do you see any of them holding press conferences or holding public office positions? No.
That doesn't mean their opinions aren't valid.
The powerful and wealthy know what is best for them. They should be glad they have someone watching their backs.

What does technology accomplish?
Every time I go to a store I can't decide which checkout to go through.
Does it create jobs?
Should I use the checkout with an actual person to show their job has importance?
Or does it take them away?
Or do I use the self checkout to create a need for tech training and give someone a chance at a higher paying job?

Yep. It helped keep those in power stay there.
Well show the people some blood and gore and they'll be entertained for hours.
I wonder if American Idol is the modern colosseum.
