ok Since you know about a treaty what was the Treaty of Tordesillas	The 1494 treaty seting up the line of Democration, giving Spain the right to settle and trade west of the line and Portugal the same rights wow very impressive	But I dont get thi question: What did European Explorers hope to achieve by sailing wesr cross the Atlantic Ocean? ha! Everyone thinks it was to find new land but it wasnt! the Europeans hoped to find a new trade route to Asia but instead found land!

See, technology wasnt created so they had guns,cannons, and horses	oh The effect of these technology is that they defeated 2 of the most powerful empires	I know that Hernan Cortes was a spanish soilder who conqured the Aztecs. So why was he important?

He was important because without Cortes the Spansh wouldnt had conqured He also met Malinche daughter of Mayan leader, she soon learned spanish and became his main translater.	When the Europeans came to the Americas , Spain and Portugal became rivals so they made the Treaty of Tordesillas, including the Line if Demacration What is the line of Democration	An imaginary line from the north to south poleset forth in 1494 Treaty of Tordesilla, Spain ha the right to sttle and trade west of the line and Portugal had the rights to settle and trade east side of the line !

Powerful citizens live in the center Lima which is its capitol The effect of European rule was they made there peopel pay taxes, also their people died from overwork,malnutrients, and european disease.

Christopher Columbus sailed the Atlantic Ocean in 1492 looking for a trade route to Asia but instead found new land Moctezuma 1519 was an Aztec ruler and thought Cortes was a god so made peace but didnt last! Spanish soilders killed Aztecs and bloody war began he was killed with help of Native groups who dont like	him! Francisco Pizzaro spanish conquistador in 1531 sailed spanish soilders to capture and kill Incan Empire. 1534 conquered most of it 15 years later defeated the most powerful empires, but brought Diseases such as small pox that whiped out an entire village!
