Look at it this way:
"I liked that one too much to [verb phrase]."
"Post it" is a verb phrase, and the prepending of a "not" negates it. "Not post it" is as much a sverb phrase as "post it". So nyaaaahhh... :P
"Post it" is a small yellow piece of paper with one sticky edge, thus another noun has become a verb. One can avoid accusations of splitting the infinitive by moving the "not" one way or another. Take a flower and try it out ...
