HA!

(Didn't notice the mini-thread here sooner.)

I caught the first panel pretty easily, but wasn't sure where the joke lay with the other two panels... After realizing the full set-up, I read it with my 'comic' brain turned on.

Panel 1: Spider-Man and Mary Jane, yeah.

Panel 2: Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman, and I believe that the 'buzz off' reference refers to a character that was in her series whose name I can't recall (but was probably Jack). He was stuck in a wheelchair, and was later on given Fly-based super-powers, although he was still paralyzed waist down. I caught this one with minimal difficulty, as I read most of that series when I was barely a teen-ager. (My older cousin had an incredibly large collection of comic books I could read for days on end.)

Panel 3: Referring to the alternate future version of Black Cat, aka Felicia Hardy, and her daughter from the confines of the Spider-Girl comic book. The flash reference is to Flash Thompson. Majorly stumped me for a bit as I don't read that book, and was lucky to have heard 'Black Cat is a lesbian' jokes months ago.

...God, I feel like such a nerd knowing all this.

I recently read almost every Spider-Girl from issue 2 to 80. So all the characters came from Spider-Girl. Panel 1 has Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Mary-Jane Watson talking about Felicia Hardy (Black Cat).

You were sort of close on panel 2 but not quite. In Spider-Girl, Jessica Drew has a son named Gerry Drew, and she saved his life by doing the same thing to him that gave him her Spider-Woman powers. While Peter Parker was in retirement, Gerry Drew took on the role and costume of Spider-Man. As far as I know, he has never met the characters in this panel, but I wanted to do the Nancy Drew joke. Jack is Jack Jameson, alias the Buzz, a superhero with fly-like powers given to him by a costume developed from Stark technology. He is J. Johah Jameson's grandson. Nancy is Nancy Lu, a low-level telekentic who was recently outed as a mutant and left to train with the X-People. Both are friends of Mayday Parker.

For the third panel, you were right about Felicia Hardy, Flash Thompson, and their daughter. Her name is Felicity Thompson, and she is the third arachnid hero of this strip. She is a 13-year old girl with no superpowers, but she has figured out who Spider-Girl is, and it's her dream to be Spider-Girl's partner. To avoid associations with her mother, whose identity is public knowledge, she dresses up as the Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly's old secret identity.
