Now you go too far, Mister Big City Film Critic! Carpenter's original film is a masterpiece, and the third film is a really interesting and odd bit of fantasy/horror cinema. The rest of the sequels are a big pile of arse, sure, but you pick on that original film, and you're in trouble...

Bah. It's plotless rubbish. Also, I know it's not really its fault, but it has to take some responsibility for the hundreds of even worse slasher films which emulated it.

Umm... Johnen Vasquez was indeed the intelectual father of Happy Noodle Boy. The "Naily in my brainy" line is not only very Vasquezian in and of istelf, but is also rather noodle boy esque. However, the character isn't patently crazy, so he is not acutally Happy Noodle Boy.
