I was under the impression that all mammals could catch Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease (spelling?) so I assume kangaroos can get it. I know from The (X) Files that humans can get it.
In real life, they make no sounds at all that I am aware of (apart from a distinct thump thump thump when they jump) but Skippy sounds like he is constantly telling everyone off.

tch = in linguistic terms, an alveolar click, inhaling. Put your tongue just behind your teeth, and suck in some air so your tongue goes "click". It's the traditional disapproving sound.
