Pointing out a troll's spelling and grammar mistakes isn't an effective counter for relatively cool-headed trolls. If someone pulls a MaxPayne, on the other hand...

And while we're at it, my philosophy is that spelling on a message board should be perfect or near perfect (the net is at your disposal, ladies and gentleman-- use it!), and there should be very few-- if any-- typos (take some time to READ OVER your posts, people). I suppose bad grammar's forgivable, since that's much more dependent on your English proficiency.

P.S. - Sorry for singling you out, Max. :-)

I agree with you there. I tend to keep Mirriam-Webster's (http://www.webster.com/) site open when I'm posting just to be sure. The occasional typo slips by, but I make a concerted effort to write reasonably well.

Had you said "...because I felt mean and Maddox does it..." you probably would have some right to criticize my spelling and grammer. Second of all, where do you get off comparing yourself to Maddox. You know what Maddox would have done? Maddox is a comedian. He makes jokes. What he says and what he does are completely different things. Will Maddox come to my house and kick my ass? No. Does Lowtax of Something Awful really condone throwing children down wells? No. They're comedians running on the line "Do what I do, not what I say."
