Since the contest ends tonight, I may let this series end with these three strips. It could keep going on, because it is rather open-ended, but I think it's enough to establish why Bongo is so anxiety-ridden.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back here to judge the contest. I'm going to go back and give them all a thorough reading before making the judgement. You guys didn't make it easy on me either.

Okay, here are all the vairous mentions...

KKP - It Just Can't Be! - Possibly the most damning revelation of the whole contest.

kaufman - I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together - This just had me rolling... but I'm afraid I don't see the conspiracy in that strip, so it's DQed. And what did he return to the video store, however, was both hilarious and compliant.

fpd - The Bongo Affair started out kind of weak, but over time built up to be not only a juggernaut of a series, but really rather funny. I must love wenisinfurs.

big_evil_dan - Film Noir What can I say but "wow."?

TheBlairZip - You get points for tying up a number of other comics into one series.

NeoVid - Very Illuminating managed to hit all the right humor buttons with me.

Draconias - Behind those eyes - While the series in and of itself didn't strike me as funny, the mention of the 0.5 child was classic and made the entries worth a mention. It reminded me of a running joke amongst some friends I used to hang out with a few years ago.

isrphael - The Dreadful Truth behind Stripcreator.com This series, especially strip #2 had me rolling. It would *really* get the conspiracy theorists up in arms if you won this contest after hosting the last one.

Namgubed - The Pemmican Briefs Four words... Big_Evil_Dan_Rather.

Okay, after much deliberation, this contest came down to three equally funny strippers: Israphael, NeoVid, and fpd. Because I want to aviod a CC rigging scandal, I'm afraid I can't give it to israphael... and between NeoVid and fpd, I'm going to pick the more coherant storyline, and that would be...

NeoVid! Congratulations, and have fun with CC 99. And let's keep our little agreement under wraps. Oops, did I say that out loud?

Well done NeoVid, bit gutted I didn't get a mention (not because it wasn't funny, but cos of the way I done it) ah well. Who will win the next one and get to host CC 100.

OK, I know my failure to submit an entry precluded me from winning this contest, but I thought for sure I had the Best Actor award tied up for my role in israphael's "The Dreadful Truth Behind Stripcreator.com." I had a speech ready and everything. I even put on some pants. What a ripoff.

I'm sure I remember someone, maybe ObiJo, suggesting that Brad host the 100th contest, to make it sort of a prestigious event, or something.

Whatever, I guess it's up to the winner to hand it over if they really want.
