I don't think you could do a Watchmen movie that was the same experience as the comic. Watchmen is incredibly dense and I think a two or three hour film just wouldn't be enough. You could maybe do one of the plots in one film and drag it out into a couple of movies and maybe you'd get that effect, but it seems unlikely and I'm not really sure how satisfying that would be, how it would sell, etc.

All in all, I'm not real hungry for a movie adaptation of it. It could be nice, but Watchmen's one of the few comics I've read that I think is just about perfect the way it is. There really isn't all that much action or amazing special effects that I'd like to see on the big screen.

They should just film someone turning the pages.

That's the thing, though... a film [u]isn't[/u] the same experience as a book, or a comic, or a TV series, or a radio drama, or any of those things. Watchmen, done well, would make an excellent movie, and there's really no better reason to go ahead with it. Would it be as good as the comic? No, almost certainly not. Was PJ's Fellowship of the Ring as good as Tolkien's novel? No, of course not, but it was a damned good movie...

Now , i cant possibly be the first person to note the similarity between Dexx and Descolada99. Now , Dexx is the older of the two yet i think we can safely assume that Dexx isnt THAT old that Descolada would be his son , so can we safely assume that Descolada is in fact a member of the extended Dominguez family?
