Rabid_Weasle March 13, 2004 8:27 PM	Lately there seems to be a craze with people putting large (physical size, not file size) images in their sigs. Please stop, it is annoying. Perhaps we should set some guidelines for the maximum size images should be. And if brad wants to get real fancy, he can program it to not allow images that go over this limit.

Brad March 13, 2004 9:13 PM	Yeah, the sizes seem to have been growing lately. It's pretty easy for me to deactivate images in sigs if this is going to be a problem.

I use MyIE2, which has a ton of toolbars and shit. It's about 133px tall.

The start menu and status bar in MyIE2 come out to 51px (thereabouts)

So, about 180px tall.

600 - 180 = 420px

Even at 800x600, we're talking 420px of viewing space available. At 100px, an image leaves 320px of open viewing area.

Now, even though I've just showed that Makk is just being facetious (probably), I agree with the point of view. Huge sig images are, if nothing else, obnoxious. STOP IT, FUCKERS!

MaKK_BeNN March 16, 2004 2:40 PM	EvilZak's sig pic really did take up all the space in my browser, but he fixed it. I think the size standard should be based around me, mAAk. If your sig picture is any bigger than mine, it's too big.
