Well, I thank all the marvelous people who voted for me in the previous contest. Your checks are already in the mail.

Right, you silly gits, here are the rules for the next newb contest.All stripcreators with
1) less than 50 comics
or
2) having more than 50 comics, have registered after 1 of march of 2004(included)
can enter the contest.As usual I kindly demand that the regular users DONT enter the contest using new accounts or aliases. This contest is to help new users to gain confidence and hone their skills.

The subject is *drumroll*: ANYTHING
That's right kids, you can make strips about what damn well pleases you.But be advised. It has to be funny and comprehensible to the general audience.

The rules are *roll of thunder*: You have to use the granny character in the dexx catalog of characters in at least one panel!

Apart from that, let teh funnie flow.

I will be assembling a cast of insane SC users to judge the entries, drink beer and bake quiche, and if in 2 weeks time we manage to be sobber and/or alive, we will anounce the winner, wich besides winning a faboulous stale quiche, will get to Host the next contest.

Right, insanomaniac users, the judge panel is already assembled. The Judges and associated ranks are:

Possums - Marlon Brando extraordinaire
Niteowl - Tutor of teh funny
Kramer_vs_Kramer - Legal Adviser
MikeyG - Bullshit Detector
Melkor - Baker of quiche

Everybody else is also invited to participate and to bring beer.

So get crackin, newbies. this is your first chance at fame, money, success and a non-embarassing status in StripCreator.

New folk have just as much chance as anyone of winning a Comic Contest, if not even a slightly higher chance since nobody wants to see the same folk winning contests over and over. And now you have all the FTC comps, where they dish out all of those awards so everyone has a pretty good chance of getting something.

I mean, check out the newbie who won this contest back in the day.

The judges shouldn't care who you are, as long as you're funny.
