According to the official stripcreator manual:

Never announcing a winner constitutes a clear case of dereliction of duty, in which case you may be deemed unfit for command by a committee of two or more senior officers and subsequently relieved of such command, in which case your duties will be immediately assumed by the next highest ranking officer available at the time of the incident.

I just made that up, but I think I did a really great job of making it sound official and stuff.

This would constitute a clear case of contest thread abandonment, which would in turn activate the immediate facilitation of the chain of events stated in my recitation of the manual as posted above.

Furthermore, as set forth in the case of Brad vs. mister_puppy_testicles: if a contest host arbitrarily declares said contest to be dead and fails to announce a winner among the already-existing entries within a reasonable period of time [note: which 476 days would obviously exceed], while also failing to offer any contingency plan whatsoever for the consequent orderly disposition of said contest and/or transfer of responsibility and control of contest to another entity or entities, then the contest host in question shall be liable for all sorts of bad consequences and stuff.

If you wish to withdraw from the contest, I suggest that the last WW winner (possums) appoint the person whom he would consider the second-place winner in the previous contest to continue.

As for your assertion that I "smell", I must at this point in time, in all candor, regretfully concur. I would also like for it to be noted, for the record, that all of my posts in this thread have been very important and official-sounding.

Ok... I don't really want to take responsibility for this, but if Rabid's not going to run this, I will (being the winner of the last WW). Personally, I would like to see the World's Worst competition continue, but if anything, mine was a sign of the contest's decay.

So here's what I'm gonna do. If anyone has a good idea for a World's Worst, pm it to me and we'll talk.
