gabe, your mom called and asked me to do this one for her cuz she had her hands full.

I was trying to think of a interesting way to work some kind of tribute into this contest, but couldn't.

So:

- Not titles to any comics submitted. Enter some spaces in your title field. I find not having titles interesting cuz your 3 panels have to stand on their own.

- 15 words or less. I think the funniest comics are the shortest ones because you usually have to touch on something intrinsically funny to pull it off.

- Any characters, any backgrounds.

Just to show it can be done:

Judging will be done Sunday evening. Multiple entries allowed. Good luck. Have fun.

This group is one funny bunch of motherfuckers.

ObiJo: excellent rules. This contest should generate a lot of very funny stuff.

You know, I was supposed to go and visit friends in London proper and Staines this autumn, but with things as they are, if the airfares were brought to all of our doors in gold leaf, leather-bound gift wrapped envelopes; we probably couldn't even use them. :- /

Where abouts, btw? I have friends with family in Liverpool and Wolverhampton in the north bit.

Where do your friends' families live, Bunnerabb? I'm in Aigburth, about a mile and a half from Liverpool city centre.

I heard that flights were being resumed some time later this week? My girlfriend's mum is supposed to be going to L.A. next week and she's shitting bricks about it. Although, I suppose security will be tighter than ever now (after the event, as usual).

Hey um.... i know this has a title so in essence it breaks the rules but i made it a while ago and i reckon it fits the other rules pretty well so I thought i'd stick it on.

32359

Hey apejuice: where do you live in the North of England?
I live kinda near Durham.

Am I the only one who likes wordy comics? Oh well, here is my humble entry, in which I attempt to explore the subtexts implicit in the seemingly simple act of punching a clown in the balls. The reader is invited to note the use of symbolism within the context of a quasi-comic framework, and perhaps deconstruct the tangential (and deceptively crude) references to deeply ingrained societal expectations regarding ethnicity and culture.

I guess we'll call that an entry, since it fits the rules. Hopefully, given time, I'll come up with something more amusing.
