Time for a bit of lyrical theatre
Rhyming's come to StripCreator.

All right, that's just about all the rhyming (barely) I can put in the rules without obscuring them.

Here are the rules:

For your entry or entries, you MUST collaborate with another user on this site, and NOT an alternate name or alter ego. There must be two people working on an entry, which means there must be at least two comics per entry. Please post them both in the same post. You may enter as many times as you'd like.

Finally, your comics must RHYME. I want all dialogue to rhyme. Use whatever rhyming method you like, but please remember they MUST rhyme.

Get to it!

Injokester and I are doing a "rap" game. The first two rounds will take place between our two reoccuring characters: Fuckface Fred and the "Life's a Burrito" Man. We both got some pretty sweet ideas, so I'll open up the round with this:

Was it too hard for you two to put the comics in groups of 5? As in, 5 comics per post?

We were kinda on a roll last night and it skipped our minds. We were following a plan and didn't think to shorten our posts by including them all, but since we did all of this really quickly we forgot about it. I did realize that this was all a little lengthy. Sorry about that.

On the bright side, it makes it look like there's been a lot of entries to this contest.

Sorry about that. We got carried away making them, and were just posting our own after we made them. I did however take the animated pic out of my sig so that the page would load a lot faster and keep the comics closer together.

I wrote out a Dr. Seuss parody a couple of days before Mikey made up this contest. It's complete as far as what was in my mind and spilled out onto the page, but more verses could be added. If another sc regular wants to do so, I'll send you the text I have. If you think you can work with/add to the story, then we can discuss character representations and such.

Send me a pm.

... and just now, when I surfed over here to Stripcreator, the "Read this Comic" feature displayed "Nora Lenderby" from my stagnating collection. Could it be a sign??

I'm not going to be around much anymore (I find out tomorrow if I'm getting fired or not, if I am I can't afford to get the net at home, if not I won't be able to spent a lot of time here from work or I'll get fired for that...), so if Frank and I win it's in his hands.

Thanks, but I'll be fine ^_^

I had all four wisdom teeth out on the weekend, and found out I had a very infected abscess under each one. I was unaware that this had other side effects, making me tired, run down, unable to concentrate, unable to sleep, giving me headaches for no reason, and a few other things. Now they're out I feel fantastic, so much so I'm not even worried about getting fired ^_^

Fuck this. Namgubed and kaufman win.

They probably would have won even if more people had entered, seeing as how this would still out-clever the rest of you.

Have fun collaborating on CC280, guys.

I, at least, will make sure I enter it.

PLEASE try to make 280 more interesting than I did.

I think 279 was a good idea. I didn't enter because A) I can't rhyme to save my life and B) That's a lot of pressure, being teamed up with someone else. I wouldn't want to disappoint my partner (and negate the good work they may have done) with potentially sub-par entries.

Inflatable_Man

Sometimes the most interesting CCs are the ones least entered, because the majority of strippers want something simple and the more radical a competition the harder it is to think of something.

sub-par entries are better than none at all.

Well, Namgubed and Kaufman won, so it's up to them when the next comp starts. I, for one, want to fucking pretend 279 never happened and have a do-over. All the comics made for it can be retitled to just some rhyming shit and CC279 can be reborn like the Phoenix.
