I thought of a new idea for a competition, based on the randomizer thread in comic showcase.

Let's see who can come up with the best random strip. The zanier and harder the strip is (basically the more you can still come up with a funny strip after getting screwed by the random lay-out function), the more points you're liable to get. Of course there's no real way to prove people are playing fair and pushing the random lay-out button, but it will be on the honor system and Jesus knows you're a douchebag if you cheat.

Anyone up for this? If so, judging will be a week from now.

I hereby throw down the gauntlet to anyone who thinks they're good enough! (I'm not I've been trying this already...)

Try putting in the text first, then hitting the randomizer (more than once if you need to) and see if you can get something funny out of it (the text stays there).

A warning to any newbies though, if you do this and the comic is bad we will likely rate your entire account as bad. Please don't fill a brilliant topic with random crap, I'm pretty sure everyone only wants funny random crap. By all means strut your stuff, but please consider whether other people will also find it funny before posting.

I've deleted my first entry, it was a good example of what I was talking about in my last post.

Just when I think I have a rough idea who the winners will be, you buggers blindside me with more hilarious strips. This is the best... *sniff*... competition I've ever hosted. Judging is tomorrow... and in my book you're all winners... (except that one guy who did that one really stupid strip... yeah, you know who you are).

All I want to say is that whoever wins, please host the next RM with a theme. We can't have the same stupid competition over and over again, can we?
