Last year my old long-distance internet girlfriend from the US came to visit. Jesus, talk about dodging the bullet... I nearly moved to the US to be with her... *shudder* Anyway, among less petty annoyances, she kept pronouncing "Geelong" incorrectly. As Aussies will tell you, it's juh-LONG, but she kept saying GEE-long. For two days.

Oh, and she also kept correcting me on my English pronunciation.
