I seem to have won opc #8, so I'll go ahead and start opc 9, I think that's how it works?
The theme of OPC #9 is other people's comics.

Rules:
1. One panel. As always, non-donors can just leave panels 1 and 3 blank or black.
2. Enter in this thread, with someone else's comic.
A goal here is to find new talent we might be overlooking.
3. Funny is good. Non-funny is ok too. Trying to be funny and failing, not so good. Judging in aboot a week.
4. Comix that have already won any award not eligible.
5. bribes encouraged.
6. Judging will be arbitrary. Comics starring aardvarks a plus. Comix involving scat or violence tend not to be funny.
7. There is no rule 13.
8. If the person who made the comic objects to its entry, the entry is disqualified, unless authorized under rule 5.

i'm not eligible for any awards myself, but, since the rules might be confusing, i thought i'd post an example. or i just think this one is hella funny.

I don't object to it, I'm quite flattered. I just don't want to win because I'm too flaky to run a contest. So if you could please disqualify me, and thanks again.

judging one of these days soon, when the checks clear.

currently leaning toward:
1 HC Royale, with mroetker's "things not to say to cops."
2 Matt Wolfe, with the welcome clueless newbi award.
3 Mandingo gets the "sadly true" award for marf's "sadly true." Finn34 also entered that one.

Yup, it's HC Royale, winner OPC 9, host OPC 10.
Also won the hot mom award.
Late entries may still qualify for the Chocolate Turkey award.
