I figure this is the best place to put this, and if it isn't I apologize and request one of the Mods move it to where it should be.

As I've stated several times, I've been working on some new stuff to submit to Brad for approval and addition to the site, and I figured while I'm at it I should ask if any people of the post-DexX era would like me to create images of them.

If you would like one, provide me with either a description of what you want or a photo and I'll see what I can do.

Have you spoken to Brad about your proposed artwork? I know that when he last added new art to the site he said he was more inclined to add new backgrounds than characters. Now, he may have changed his mind since, but I wouldn't want you to spend ages working on new characters only to have them not used.

That said, since you're offering, I'd like a forum user character.

I need something to do regardless. I have the drive and creativity to do it now, and even if he doesn't want to add them at this time I'll still have them if there's a call for them later. And people can have copies of their user sketches to use as forum avatars or whatnot in the meantime.

I'm willing to add new characters if they're high quality.

Also if people wanted to pick out stuff they want from www.clipart.com, I'd be willing to buy an account and grab some of that.

I'm thinking about doing some more stuff, actually. I owe a few people user characters (though I think they've all bailed from the site since I promised them characters, e.g. JrnymnNate and BlairZip). I've been a bit busy lately, but I'm also working on those entirely theoretical "emote" graphics, too. Made three, but I want to wait until they're all done before I submit them for consideration.

I seem to recall having a new art wish list, but I can't recall what was on it. No matter.

As you can see, I modified DexX's original character of himself to make an avatar using an old image of me and PhotoShop, and while that's been cool, the prospect of having a proper one is too appealing a chance to turn down. Please :)

i know i'm probably on a loooooooooooong list of people to request, but i'd like a forum user character. I know Injokster made me one and many others a long time ago but I don't know if Brad liked them on the site or if they were unsubmitted.

Try sending me a picture as well. For best results, be in the forumuser pose in the picture. The easier it is for me to trace the better.

Also, let me know if you want any... "plastic surgery" done.

I think you're right about people who aren't here any more not needing art. Though I do know DH-01 is still posting once in a while.

Actually, DexX, I'd like to see an updated version of my forumusers character. My current character is quite out of date at this point. Maybe sorta like gabe except a with a Blind Guardian black t-shirt on or something. :)

We would have to keep the original as well, because he has become invaluable for certain character types.

What I'd like to see on the site is something like kaddar's brunette with really frizzed out hair (not like a fro, like she stuck her finger in a light socket). When I get stressed out, I often play with my hair and everyone can tell because it basically looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket only without the burned face and fingers. Maybe a blonde one too in case there's a blonde who does the same.

I`ve been browsing that site looking for images that I think would be compatible with the stripcreator format. (individual characters, full body shots, no backgrounds, etc.)

Sure, I'd like to have it back, but I don't really care to have a nagging reminder that I don't, especially since there's really nothing I can do about it.

It's about time I got back into doing art for the site. Just make requests and I'll do them. Original stuff is always a lot less brain draining than forum user characters. I can only do one of the latter occasionally, but I could rattle off the former all day.

It's really up to Brad - how much new art does he really want to add? Every new character and background adds a bit more to the server load and bandwidth...

The amount of fun we shouldn't have been having on wittycomics was really down to the serious looking characters and putting them in purile immature situations.

That's my only suggestion. Characters with a bit of class are funnier to cornhole.

I'm not too worried about bandwidth these days, the server SC is on is doing all right. I'm willing to add lots of art as long as it's good stuff (your art obviously qualifies.)

You can judge for yourself whether or not my stuff is good. Just go to my homepage and take a look at my comics. The current ones are old that I drew a few years back before I took a break, and you can still see the rise in quality over time with those.

I wouldn't mind a forum character, but I'm not sure if I've earned one yet and I'm also not sure if I'm weird looking enough/versatile looking to merit it. Maybe with my Lemmy-ish mustache it would be cool.

What I have always wanted is an Elmo-ish character. A postman might be nice as well. A boxer or more sports figures might be cool as well.
