My fucking ipod deleted all my 2400 songs that were on my ipod and exchanged them 164 songs that i had on my itunes library on my computer. So all of the songs i've had for the past 2 years that i've put on my ipod have gone, and the only way I can get them back on my ipod is by importing all of hundred of cd's again to my computer and puting them on my ipod. that proccess takes about one million years.

This reminds me of how crap everything made by macintosh is.

Could be worse, could be an RCA Lyra. 3 hours to import the songs to the player and if I need to add one single song, I have to delete everything off there, put them back onto the software and redo all the tags. Then I have to upload it and three hours later, I unplug it and it spends the next hour and a half "profiling."

Of course if I connect it to a computer at any time, even for kicks, then it still goes through the profiling crap when I disconnect.

And that's why I hate stuff made for and by Microsoft.

I'd love an iPod. I'll take yours. You can have my Lyra.

I have the problem of losing all my old tapes, or having the walkmen eat them because they are both obsolete technologies that you fucking hipster doofuses and old farts refuse to just let die.

My iPOD is groovy and it never loses all its songs because I'm not a moron.

Ahem. My iPod screen cracked in the ground when it slipped out of the iSock it was in. The the good people at Microshit wouldn't repair it.

Assholes.

Of course, it was my own stupidity that caused that, so they're not really liable anyway.

I'm an asshole.

I've never been a big fan of Apple products, so I stayed away from the iPod when I bought my first mp3 player. While my friend who recommended the Archos to me is still using his, mine was buggy as shit, so i bought an iPod a year later. Two years later, I have no complaints (I'm glad I bought the 40 gb--I still don't have it filled, so i can go another 1-2 years before I need to either delete tracks or think about upgrading).

You could fill all 50 with a sound file of someone repeating the word "tiresome" over and over, and it still wouldn't capture how tiresome you are.

i have owned 2 of them, one when they first came out (a "first generation" if you will) that was really hard to deal with and twitchy as all get-out...

and the new 5th gen video 60GB badboy which is so much easier - as long as you read your manual and know how to set up iTunes, you're golden.

When you have an iPod, do you find yourself more susceptible to dancing in the street, while in shadow?

Or are the commercials lying to me again?

oh, ivy, you silly silly person. commercials never lie. they are the only way God can speak to us. through commercials, God told GWB to drop bombs on Iraqis, because we are the chosen people who will drive our SUVs into Heaven after the Rapture smotes the filthy Muslims from the planet.

and yes, ipods do tend to cause you to dance in inappropriate areas/times
