Exactly my point. I haven't seen Final Destination 3, but it does sound awesome just because it has so many special features. You can choose how the whole movie goes, by deciding who lives and dies. While it's a very ambitious effort, it can no way possibly be a #1 all time.

I've noticed alot of people coming around plugging odd products lately. Kaenash did it with elder scrolls. There was a go see Clerks II thread right before it came out. There have been other examples. Sebra sprouts out random plugs for things here and there. It seems that this behaviour is also mostly done by newer members who some people perceive as trolls? Are they paying them to sit at home and troll like 50 message boards a day just hanging out and plugging products.

If you have this job could you contact me at lobsterturtle@gmail.com with the specifics of how I could get that job, I would really appreciate that. It's my dream job.

I've seen lamer reasons to like a movie, but not many.

The original wasn't about gore. It was about suspense. That's why it's better than the remake. Just because the special effects budget is higher doesn't mean it's better. Look at the Star Wars prequels.

Freddy is Dead is the grandest raping of a movie franchise of all time. The thing was directed by the woman who did the marketting for the previous movies for christ's sake!

"No screaming while the bus is in motion!"

No, I mean that one is intentionally a comedy. I can understand people thinking Last Action Hero is an action movie when it was actually supposed to be a comedy, but anyone who mistakes Shaun of the Dead for horror either never saw it or is a moron.

I like THE CORE because it's scientifically inaccurate. It's like a modern version of one of those old Jules Verne-type science-fantasy stories that replaces scientific accuracy with fun.

Whenever someone tells me they didn't like THE CORE, I always say, "You know why you didn't like it?" and they say "Why?" And I pause dramatically and say, "Because you have no emotional core."

I tend to avoid the hack-em-slash-em horror movies and go more for the kinds featuring what H. P. Lovecraft has called cosmic horror. Among horror movies I've seen in recent enough memory, these stand out more than others:

Interview with the Vampire
The Stepford Wives
Stigmata
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Rosemary's Baby

That started out cool and I thought you might have some interesting tastes. Weird, horror movies I've never heard of or something, but it turns out your list is just filled with queer emo horror. That's a shame.
