I just uploaded this for someone, so I thought I'd post it here:

It contains a selection of songs from one of the best bands to come out of Aus in recent years: The Cat Empire (a hiphop/funk/jazz/ska band based out of Melbourne.)

It's deinitely worth a listen to anyone wanting to discover something a little different. (It's only 40MB and start with "Hello", btw).

If I mail you five bucks and a padded envelope, will you burn me a CD and ship it? I'm intrigued by the description (and your recommendation). I'm on dial-up, and there's no way I can DL 40 MB.

Also, have you ever heard any Radio Birdman? I think they were an Aussie band.

I don't know if he ever did this, but if you really want to hear it you can get their ep or an album off Amazon for <$10. Or maybe even from a shop since I think they were getting popular over there at one time (they were on The Late Show with David Letterman).

I don't know why you'd want to buy something you've never heard though. I'd send you a cd if I had anything.

If that description really intrigues you, you could just check out Ozomatli which is very similar.

I haven't yet, but that's just because I don't have a car and haven't had any reason to go near a post office for a while. It should be later this week though.

I'll make sure to check out Ozomatli though, I looked them up and they sound interesting.

I was merely offering to offset the cost of burning and shipping. Injokester kindly offered to send me the disc for free after I made the offer. Now it's offer and honor all night long.

Also, I'm a cheap bastard. I'd rather pay somebody $5 for a copy than order one for $10. Besides, if I like it, I'll likely buy more of their stuff.
