I am making comics for readers of my blog, where I often discuss Italian politics (and many other things). That simple.

If you thought I am trying to make readers feel embarassed because they do not follow "obscure" international news...well, that is not my aim.

Apparently people on these forums get offended both when I post a reference to my comics (so that they can find out about the background events) and when I do not. You guys should just take it easy!

Italian politics is the craziest kind you'd find on this Earth. It really is. Thus it's great material for strips - they say for real things you would not even have thought could be pronounced in any political arena.

As for the joke...you might just be on the right track...though the 'black dress' touch is a little outdated.
