I don't know anything about Internet Explorer.

But in Firefox, which I like, I used to could hit the alt and left arrow keys to go back to the page I was viewing before looking at someone's comic. Now when I hit those it just takes me to the person's previous comic, whether or not I was just viewing it. Anyone else experienced this? How do I get it to stop happening?

The left and right arrows are hard coded to scroll through comics, I don't think there's any way around it. It also happens when you're typing a comment and try to go back to correct a spelling mistake.

As far as I know the left and right cursor keys don't go back/forward in your browsing history in Firefox. ALT+Left and ALT+Right will do that on Windows I believe.

Also does the left/right cursor for next/prev comic get used much? I should disable it since I've heard a few complaints.

Definitely disable it, it's a pain.

I had no idea that brad didnt know abou tthis issue. I thought there was almost instant outrage when it was enabled over a year ago.

There was. I've always hated that feature.
