Requesting a zoom-in of those posters if you don't mind... Or are they not meant to be anything special?

Nah, they're actual bookstore posters I poached and modified slightly. Nothing exciting.

I thought for a second you'd try to sneak an easter egg or two in there for us, you sneaky bastard.

Yay!  This will come in really handy whenever I do comics that take place in a bookstore.

That's a good idea. Totally trumps my "living on the moon, which happens to look like a bookstore" series I was planning for this.

Now that's a stupid idea! ;)

I love you Injokester! And not in that awkward, not sure how to respond way! But in that  I will now stalk you and sit outside your house eating cold pizza even if it's raining way.

That looks eerily exactly like every miniature bookstore in every airport in the entire world.

I tried twice to read Gravity's Rainbow, and I have to say it ranks on the very short list of books I never bothered to finished.  Stream-of-consciousness piece of crap.

i checked it and The Crying of Lot 49 out from the library just a couple of weeks ago. i couldn't get through Crying, which is Pynchon's shortest novel, so i've given up on even trying to get through that other behemoth. i'll wait for the 5 hour David Lynch movie

Crying isn't bad.  It has some moments of surrealist amusement.  Gravity's Rainbow has a few of these moments too, they're just buried in the longest fucking book I've ever read.

I shit you not, it took me over 10 years to read that motherfucking monstrosity.  Someone should make a "Best of Thomas Pynchon" anthology where they excerpt the 100 funny pages out of the 12,432,556,344 he's written.
