We're going green, folks. The time has come to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Your entry must fit the following rules:
1) ONE entry per contestant. Choose your funniest before you post. Multiple entries will disqualify you. (Reduce)
2) Your comic may not have a creation date more recent than 5/19/2010. You may not create a new entry for this contest. (Reuse)
3) Extra consideration will be given if the comic's durability is such that it has been entered in a previous comic contest and still has enough stand-alone funny that it makes me laugh, without me even knowing the rules for the old contest. If your comic was in a previous contest, just include a link to the contest thread where your comic appeared. Even more bonus if it was not a OPC contest. Even more even more bonus if your comic won that contest. (Recycle)
4) Your comic must be, duh, one panel.
5) No photoshopped entries.
I will accept comics that were made in the 3-panel format with only one panel active (and the other two blank). This was the accepted one-panel format before Brad offered a choice of number of panels. Some people (like myself) have already gone back and edited these oldies so they truly became one-panel comics, by taking out the extra panels. This is ok. ANY OTHER EDITS ARE NOT OK. YOU'RE ON THE HONOR SYSTEM. (Seriously though, don't cheat. Do you really want to be the person who cheats at a competition on the internet with arbitrary rules, subjectively judged by some chick in Nebraska? Don't be that guy.)
Everything else is up to you. No limits on subject matter. Just bring me the previously funny funny.
If you've never created a one-panel comic, hang out and wait for OPC 49. I'm sure it will be fun, too.
I will judge this thing when I think we've gotten all of the entries we're gonna get.
