I hate the Holiday Inn commercials that insinuate that staying there somehow magically grants you the ability to be an air traffic controller or brain surgeon. There is a limit to how far my suspension of disbelief can be stretched, and just once I want the commercial to end with somebody dead in the OR and the "Holiday Inn Guy" being shoved into the back of a police car with a confused look on his face.
So this is your challenge: One of the characters has to have performed an activity that is far beyond their qualifications and they must now explain what happened to a curious bystander/worried loved one/concerned authority figure/etc.
I know there are already comics of this vein floating around the archives, so no old comics will be considered for the win. Other than that, have at it.
