February is right around the corner. Black history month, leap years, Valentines day. So much fun!

I want you to make a comic dealing with Black History Month or Valentine's Day or Leap Years. I also want one of the panels to be sad. I want to feel it, feel it. Hit me with your best shot!

My dating strategy is simple. I avoid any race related jokes. I show up on time and I usually pick a fun place like a pancake house. Let's be honest. I'm no casanova, but one thing I am is fairly confidant I will enjoy the pancakes. Well, that was my dating strategy. Before I got married. And before I was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. Now I'm literally just counting down the days.

That counts because dating has to do with Valentines day. I'm not a rules Nazi. Do your best. 

Judging will be February 8th.

I want a lot of entries. Tell your kids. Tell your wife. Email old strippers you havent talked to in awhile.

In honor of Black History Month, we pay tribute to James Wilkens, who reformed the idea of Leap Year as we know it. Nobody cares about February 29th, and it's so confusing, coming only every 4 years. He came up with the idea of ditching February 29th. Instead, now every four years, we have two February 14ths. A double Valentine's Day! A lover's paradise, who wouldn't like that? I wuv you! I know. If you think of the year 2015 like a computer program downloading into your life, it has now completed about 10% of the download. Source code for the passage of time.... compiling. Yeah, unless the world self-destructs on October 21, 2015, when it realizes Back To the Future Day has arrived and we still don't have flying cars. Oh, for fuck's sake. We don't have flying cars because Marty and Doc Brown went to 1975 and accidentally convinced Steve Jobs to focus on handheld computers. Besides, if the world was that different, maybe other things would be different -- like I wouldn't be legally married to you today. Awwww, Happy Valentine's Day!! Let's go do gay sex behind the books!!
