The forces of evil have descended upon Striptropolis. The city is in chaos, and the citizens cry for help. Will you heed their call?

The theme for this contest is superheroes. Your mission is to write a comic or series of comics featuring super-powered characters (superheroes, supervillains, superaccountants...it doesn't matter what they do.) You must feature at least one character of your own creatation.

And as a tribute to the many comic-book crossovers that have come before, you must also include a character who has appeared in somebody else's entry. That includes the six characters featured here...

65295

...so that someone can actually submit the first entry.

Multiple entries will be accepted (even encouraged) and judging will take place on Tuesday evening.

Thing is , in your absence , Maxawa gave us "The adventures of Negro and White Person" , which instantly gave him "Power Newbie" status.

you require a 40 piece , consistently amusing strip to retake your crown .

ahh, but the SC bylaw which called the position into existence allowed for more than one "power newbie." besides, i think it was decided a long time ago that i am a power newbie in perpetuity, even if i do a whole bunch of speed and make 30,000 comics. i did, however, read part of the "negro and white person" series, and will gladly share my throne with maxawa.

Well, since nobody cared that I was a day late in the judging, I could probably declare myself the winner and rule the comic contests for eternity! But then, I'd have to keep judging them. So, I'll have to do the right thing and pick someone else as a winner.

Here are the honourable mentions. Some of these got on the list just for creating an interesting and creative superhero. That's exactly what I was hoping for.

Kevin Keegans Perm - Summertime Superhero's convention (Doesn't comply with the crossover rule, but it did create Canadian Yet Sober Man)

fuzzyman - Super Britainman versus The Head

deucepm - The Life of Captain Obvious

kaufman - Super Britainman vs. Tiny Origami Girl

drave - The Adventures of Captain I Know Karate
DexX - One Word Bit Guy

And the winner...

israphael - Tales From The Script

Well, that series did manage to capture the ultra geek comic number 65536, so he deserves it.

I think i should have won solely for creating more memorable comic book characters than anyone else.

I mean , how come Used_Tampon_Bola_Woman didnt even get a mention?

Thats harsh.

I thought La Whore was pure genius on my part. But that's me.

Whatever the case, we have a whole new crop of characters for the X-Legion of Justice!
