This contest goes out to those pioneers of wacky photo editing, the tabloids. Your job is to create a front page-worthy image that could appear on such fine publications as the Weekly World News.

The rules:

  • Use any images you want. This is a pretty wide topic, so I'm not going to waste any time finding some for you.
  • Every good story needs a headline. You need to either a) submit the photo, and a text caption to represent the headline OR b) do a full mock-up of the front page.
  • Enter as many times as you wish.

Unless the goventment's black helicopters come after me, judging will take place on Thursday afternoon.

This competition was made for Fuzzy to win, so I'm not shocked that he's already got two great entries.

Don't worry. Dexx or Boo will come up with something and kick my white ass.

I don't think it could get any whiter than it is naturally.

I'm not sure why no one else is entering this contest... It seems ripe with possibilities.

I have one in the works - just haven't finished it yet.

Well the competition ends this afternoon and so far it's Fuzzyman vs Le Fuzz vs The Fuzzinator vs Fuzzywuzzyman and with just DexX even mentioning about entering, just who will win?

Stands no chance against Fuzzy's mammoth effort, but he needs to honour of having someone to beat...

I can't really come up with anything other than maybe a headline about DragonXero's hair mysteriously vanishing to a desert island...

"Dude, where's my hair?"

I don't have time to do a submission, but if I did, it involve this beauty.

I used to have that as my backgrond pic but my wife found it disturbing. Unfortunately, we never got around to seeing the musical.

I saw on Metafilter yesterday that the guy who came up with Batboy (and was the editor of Weekly World News) is now the editor of Cracked.

Well, there were a lot of good entries, but almost all of them were by the same person. Sorry, DexX, but as much as I liked your entry, I think I have to give this contest to him.

I feel dirty. Did my first couple of entries scare everyone off? Or were you just not inspired? Enquiring minds want to know.

New topic coming up shortly.

Too bad we don't have more people who photoshop... we could have a PhotoCup.

I was wondering the same thing. I figured this topic was full of possibilities.

I blame the government.

I wanted to do an entry for this one, but I'm just too damn slow so far. I've never once worked with anything other than paint, before getting Photoshop 7 a week or so ago. I know paint inside and out (Even used it and a gif animator to make a 500-frame animation once), but am still learning Paintshop and its heavenly photo editing ways.
As I get faster, expect a lot more entries from me.

What's the difference between Paintshop and Photoshop, anyway?
