How did you know that?
I just do especially how the mass of the three subparticles is not the same as the atomic mass. Thats called mass defect.
Wow stop my head hurts.
Also according to Einstein this because of Nuclear Binding Enery which states that when the nucleus is forming the mass is converted into energy.

Band of stability talks about a stable nuclei structure over a range of neutron-proton ratio.
Ok you win just stop.
For example a Helium aton that has 2 protons and 2 nuetrons has a ratio of 1:1. As the atomic number increases the ratio becomes 1.5:1. Need i say more?

Hmm what are the 3 types of radiation? I know alpha and beta but i know there is one more.
Gamma you dummy. Thats the third radiation. Alpha is the emission is the decay of very heavy nuclei. It causes the atomic humber to decrease by 2 and the mass number by 4.
Oh thats right . What about beta radiation? Isnt that the loss of an electron?
Yes but thats not it. Its the loss of a nuetron but it converts into a proton and electron. The proton stays but the electron is lost. Beta emission is the conversion of one nuetron into a proton.
Oh yeah now i remember in beta radiation the atomic number increases by 1 while the mass number stays the same.
Gamma emission usually happens right after some other type of decay. Gamma radiation depends on which other type of radiaton it wants to be. It can be alpha or beta radiation.

I bet nuclear fission is better. During this a very heavy nucleus spilts into more stable nuclei of intermediate mass.
No nuclear fusion is better. Its when low mass nuclei combine to form a heavier more stable nucleus.
I bet yours cant occur spontanously or when nuclei are bombarded by particles.
It probably cant but nuclear fusion releases even more energy per gram of fuel then nuclear fission.
At least mine has a chain reaction. Thats when a reaction in which the material that starts the reaction is also one of the products and can start another reaction.
Yeah but at least mine cant be controlled. If it was controlled they could be used for energy generations. They are also trying to contain the reacting plasma.

Do you know that all natural elements have been produced by artificial transmution?
Yeah those are called Transuranium elements meaning they are elements with more than 92 protons in their nuclei.
Yeah and the addition or production of technetium and promethium has filled gaps in the periodic table.
Yeah those plus all the other natural elemenst are radioactive.
