Who?
Hey Brian, the neighbors seems like a really nice kid.
Yea, I think we made the right choice.
Oh, I just seem them outside. In the state of Kansas and Missouri their marriage is not recognized as legal. So, no they can't be legally married.

Again with the nonsense...

Robert are you cheating on me?
I wonder if she really wants me to answer...
Don't worry Brian, your mom doesn't work so in the state of Kansas and Missouri your father will have to play alimony and child support for your sister.

Hey Brain, did you talk to Sara and her parents about the marriage proposal?
Not yet. Grandma, I dont even know what a marriage really is.
Marriage is a civil contract between a man and a woman.
What do I do to get married?
Well, first go down to the family courthouse and apply for a marriage license. Keep in mind there there is a waiting period in Kansas. Then, have a marriage cermony with a witness and an officer.
Thanks Grandma!

Sorry Brian, but your an adult now, and you have to take care of your responsiblities. Maybe you shoudl consider selling your games for some extra money.

Hey Brian I haven't seen you around school latly. Where have you been?
Katie's pregnant and I've been trying to save up to get married.
That's pretty hard, bro. Have you considered having a common marriage?
No, I've never heard of it. I'll talk to my grandma about it after school.
After school at grandmas
What is a common law marriage and can Katie and I have one?
In a common law marriage, a couple is considered legally married, despite not having any legal documents. This occurs in Kansas but not in Missouri.

Hey, Sara. I found an afterschool office job. I'll be really busy now, I work everyday after school and weekends.
I understand Brian, but you promised me that you would come to some of my ultasound appointments.
I know Sara, but I have to work. We are going to need all the money we can get.
It's just really hard doing everything by myself. People have been talking about me at school. Some have even said I should consider abortion.
Abortion? I know abortion is a legal option available in Kansas and Missouri as long as it is certified by a medical doctor, but I think that's something we both have to think about.
I know its a life changing desicion. I'm just worried. You were given a full-ride scholarship to Kansas University and University of Missouri. I'll sleep on it and tell you what I've decided tomorrow.

Grandma, Sara and I are having a lot of issues. Sara said she might have an abortion.
Well, that's a very difficult desicion. Why don't you consider adoption?
I think we should consider adoption, but I will talk to her about both options. I've also heard of "Baby Drop Off", how does that work?
If your considering not keeping the baby, I honestly think that adoption is the best choice. "Baby Drop Off" is a legal way to abandon a baby less than three days old, without facing criminal charges.
Where are legal Drop-off locations?
The most common locations are firestations, but anywhere that has a "Baby Drop Off" or "Infant Safe Haven" sticker on the building will accept three day old babies.
