De-mirrorfication! Benny is back on the right!
Anyway, Benny-san, it sounds like a fun episode. So, was there anything else to talk about?
Um... I just started reading A Wrinkle In Time. Been meaning to get to that for years. Hey! I just noticed, this show is alot like Dave's blog.
You are correct, Benny-san! Except our show is more interesting, because it has pretty moving pictures! You do think I'm pretty, don't you?
...
You didn't answer right away. You had to think about it. If you really thought I was pretty, you would've answered right away! I know when I've been insulted!

!!!
???
Confidentially, I'd totally hit that. ...As the kids say these days...
Oh, shit, is the camera still on?!?

Ohayou, Momoiro-san. Welp, Ed and Al made up on the last FMA, so that was cool. Section 9 got disbanded on GitS, which sucks. But they'll be back.
Hai, there's two eps left this season, and the 2nd gig starts in the fall, so...
No worries. On Inuyasha, though, I thought it was weird they encouraged Enju to keep living. I mean, she can only do that the same way Kikyo does- by stealing souls.
I know, Benny-san, that seemed strange to me, as well. But we must trust the writers know what they're doing.
I guess. I also wondered what would happen if Miroku would have used his wind tunnel on the clay soldiers. I mean, what would have happened to the stolen souls within them?
Good question. One which I suppose is best left to the philosophers.

Well, if you say so. Hmmm, what else? Oh, Mew Mew Power. *shrug* Can't think of anything to say about that, this week.
Glad to hear it. So, that just leaves One Piece, right?
As far as my tape goes. I watched a few other things since then, though. Anyway, I want to say, alot of the FOX stuff that I see on WB sunday mornings always seems to white out in places.
For me as well. I wonder if that's just the local station, or what? It mostly seems to happen with One Piece. We should see if the same thing happens to it on Toonami.
Maybe. Anyway, nice to see Nami again, even if it seems she's evil. I gotta believe she'll turn out to be good, but you never know. Not that I can't appreciate evil hotties as well as good.
More importantly, I noticed they changed a couple lines in the opening theme, to now mention Usopp and Sanji.

by bakawaii
4-26-05
Yeah, it's about time they put them in the theme. I miss the old lines, but the new ones seem to incorporate the points of them while being about Usopp and Sanji. Sweet.
Hai. Also, I've been wondering how long they can keep making each new enemy stronger than the last, but with the mermen, the trend shows no sign of stopping.
Yeah, plus the revelation that Mihawk is only one of 7 warlords of the sea. And our heroes haven't even gotten to the Grand Line yet! Scary.
Well... what else have you watched?
Robot Chicken had some mildly amusing bits this week, but I must report, it continues to mostly suck. Maybe Seth Green should stick to acting.
Hai, he is one of our favorite actors, but... he can't seem to make a good stop-motion animation sketch comedy to save his life.

Anyway... um... Tom Goes to the Mayor. I continue not to quite "get" this show. Dave once said he thought it was both subtle and over-the-top at the same time, which is a neat trick, but...
I know. It mostly seems too over the top, to me. Although bakawaii-senpai has more recently said the mayor is supposed to be funny because he's so stupid and annoying...
Like Brak. Everybody loves Brak! Or at least they used to, before the Brak Show. But Brak's lovably stupid and annoying, the mayor's just... you know, stupid and annoying.
But still sort of funny. Anyway, bakawaii-senpai added when i spoke to him earlier, his main problem with the show is he just hates to see bad things constantly happen to good people.
Ah yes, Tom. The mayor always screws him over without even trying, just by being his own dumb, insane, overbearing, ludicrous, lame-brianed, self-centered... self.
Hai, and Tom's wife, Joy... I'm sure you will dislike her because she is so far from being a hottie...

by bakawaii
4-26-05
Momoiro-san, you cut me to the quick! True, she's like the ultimate anti-hottie, but I'm not that shallow. The only reason I dislike her is because she also makes Tom's life miserable.
Hai, and unlike the mayor, she seems to be... saner, more self-aware. She's selfish and demanding and all that... but she just doesn't care.
Exactly. So here's Tom, week after week, just wanting to make everyone happy, and improve the community, but he loses every time, because he hasn't got an assertive bone in his body!
Perhaps the appeal of the show is simply... schadenfreude. Personally, I have never found this sort of thing appealing.
Me neither. Ah well, whatever. I'll keep watching though, cuz it's on Adult Swim. Plus my friends all seem to like it.
Those reasons sound as good as any to watch a show. Other than, you know, actually liking it, yourself.

by bakawaii
4-26-05
Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the show. I don't watch stuff if I don't like it at all. I just don't like it as much as my friends do. Of course, I also watch plenty of things they think suck.
Very brave of you, paying no heed to public opinion, Benny-san.
Meh, my friends don't care. They'll mock my taste in some things, and I'll mock theirs. It's all good. We're just clowning, y'know?
Hai. So... if you only watch new things on Adult Swim, that leaves only Sealab. How was it?
About the same as ever, these last few seasons. There were a few mild laughs, and a bit too much sucking. But there was a tribute to Captain Murphy.
But he died some time ago, why do that now?

by bakawaii
4-26-05
I forgot, you gave up watching in frustration some time ago, so you wouldn't have heard. This week was the last episode, the show's been cancelled. 70/30's gonna make a new show for Adult Swim.
Oh? When's it start?
I forget. I'm sure we'll hear about it again though.
Ah well, it's good to hear that Sealab has finally been put out of its misery. It used to be a good show.
Right on. Well, I guess that's about it for now. New Gilmore Girls tonight, and new Veronica Mars. Two of my favoritest shows. Gosh I love Tuesday nights!
Hai. Well... once again, we seem to have made it through an entire episode without saying anything amusing! We're real good at that. Sayonara, beloved viewers! See ya next time!

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Ooh, Benny-san, it's almost midnight!
That's right. So I guess we should say konbanwa, rather than ohayou. But you'll notice our background hasn't changed.
Hai, because our producer cannot afford to change the backdrop. Our viewers would never know what time it is, unless we tell them.
Right. Anyway, we're here tonight to prove that we can put our show on at any time of day. That's the good thing about having such a small fan base... it's mathematically impossible to lose viewers!
Well, I don't know... anyway, if we're not just on in the morning, but at random times of day, how can we keep "ohayou" in our show's name?
Well, we can't. And we were already thinking we should change the name if we ever went national... but even if we don't, we're moving in a month or so...

by bakawaii
4-28-05
What? Moving? Why? Where? When?
That's right, Momoiro-san. Our producer, Dave, is moving to Maine on June 7. Hard to say how this will affect our scheduling, but one thing's for sure... we gotta go with.
So... no more "Ohayou Ohio"?
Nope. And it's a shame, cuz I always liked that joke. Seriously, once you get past the title, everything about our show is downhill from there.
And really, it wasn't the most original joke, to begin with.
Meh, originality is overrated. I strive not for originality or uniqueness, but merely for rareness. Except in my meat. I like my meat well done.

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Oh, Benny-san... that joke sucked big-time. Anyway, what might we change our name to?
I've been giving that some thought. I have a few ideas you and Dave and I might kick around. First up, how about "Moshi moshi, Maine!"
But... that's for denwa. And no one ever calls our show, for some reason.
Feh, telephone, television, what's the diff? But if you really don't like it, heck, we could even go with a national name, just in case... so we don't have to change it again someday.
That's the spirit, the power of positive thinking! So, what other ideas have you got?
If it is random times of day, anything like "ohayou" or "konbanwa" is out. We probably wouldn't even want "konnichiwa," even if it is the most recognizable Japanese greeting in America...

by bakawaii
4-28-05
I don't know, "Konnichiwa America" might not be so bad... not perfect, but...
Well, we got a while yet to think about it, maybe take a viewer poll. They can even suggest some of their own ideas. But I was thinking maybe "Nanika atta, America?"
"What's up, America?" Not bad. It certainly would fit our informality...
Another idea I had was "Issei, Nissei."
Because... I am issei and you are nissei? I'm not sure...
Yeah, but also, it's kinda like "he said, she said." Get it?

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Um... no.
It's an expression!
Sorry, I'm not familiar with it.
Well, it's not an expression I've ever heard that much. And I always thought it was kind of stupid, anyway....
Ah, and you've always liked lame jokes...
You know me so well!

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Enough about the show's name, for now. What else is there to discuss? Anything in entertainment news?
Well, I read where Elton John's gonna get married in December.
Mayyybe that's a topic we should wait on until, you know... we've moved away from the red state?
Meh, Maine's barely blue, itself. But when we go national... then we can talk about whatever the hell we want. The coasts'll agree with us, and as for the flyovers...
Hai, they don't mind anything, really... as long as they only have to watch it safely on national television, and not in their own back yards.
Oddly enough, it's just the opposite for me. I don't care one way or the other about homosexuality in real life, but you couldn't pay me enough to watch Will & Grace or Queer Eye....

Moving along...
You know Dave and I both just started reading A Wrinkle in Time. And we're both equally slow readers, go figure...
You mentioned this the other day. How much have you read so far?
Just got through chapter 1. This odd old woman named Mrs Whatsit mentioned a tesseract. Dave was kinda spazzing that a book written in 1962 would talk about them things.
Well, we all know that modern theoretical physicists have been struggling with many questions for decades now without resolution...
Common knowledge. Still, kids were reading this, 40 years ago. It's kinda trippy. Anyway, can't wait to get further into it, but it's tough, snatching maybe 10 or 20 minutes every couple days.

Meanwhile, anything that might be of more contemporary interest to our viewers?
Well, it kinda pissed me off that the President stole the O.C. tonight. But hey, there'll be two eps next week. Which means no Paris, I guess. So Thursday night is saved!
http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/serenity/
At least for one week. Oh! Benny-san, have you seen the trailer for Serenity?
Hells yeah! That sucka fuckin' rocked! No power in the 'verse could keep me outta the theata come September 30, yo!
Meanwhile, we should catch up on watching Firefly on DVD...
Speaking of catching up on shows, Dave got an email from UPN telling him to get all his friends to start watching Veronica Mars. Of course, I've been watching all along...

4-28-05
Hai, I've been watching, as well. It really is an excellent show. Great writing, great characters, engrossing stories, very humorous as well as dramatic, cool in every way.
True dat. Plus Kristen Bell is a total hottie! Especially that one ep where she dressed up like a Japanese schoolgirl.... but really, she rocks no matter what she's wearing.
...not to mention what a fine actress she is, and what a brilliant character she plays. Endearing, funny, cool, kick-ass...
Well yeah, all that goes without saying. I mean, damn, what do I care if a girl is fine, unless I first like her for who she is as a person?
Oh, Benny-san, I know you feel this way, but such things shouldn't go without saying. At least not until we live in a world where everyone feels that way.
What? You mean everyone doesn't? Damn, I thought they did... and they were just, you know... going without saying it.

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Come now, Benny-san, you can't fool me. I know you're not that naive.
Yeah, a'ight. Sometimes I just like to pretend the world's a better place than it is. You know, cuz it makes it easier to act all clown an' shit.
Because, if the world truly were better, everyone would know you're a good guy no matter how crudely you speak?
Well yeah, but damn, girl, at my worst I don't speak near as crude as some folks do.
True dat, Benny-san.
Anyway, tomorrow... or actually today, for it's now well after midnight... today three things happen....

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Hai, that is right, Benny-san. First of all, it is National Arbor Day. So, what would you Americans do, go hug a tree, or something?
Actually, I think the preferred American way of celebrating Arbor Day is to be completely unaware that it is Arbor Day.
Heh. Good one! Now, Coincidentally, it is Midori no Hi, Greenery Day, in Japan! So we have two reasons to, like, plant a tree, or whatever!
Right, well, I'll see if I can work it into my busy schedule... Of course, Greenery Day is the start of Golden Week...
Hai, but this is not the third thing about today of which we were going to speak...
Right on, the biggest event today happens to be the opening of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'm hella stoked to see that. I just hope they didn't screw it up...

by bakawaii
4-28-05
Try to think positively, Benny-san. I'm sure it will be fine. A different interpretation of the material, perhaps. But there have been several before, and they've all been good.
Though I think Doug had more direct involvement then than he does now. What with being dead, and all.
Hai, it is a great shame. He was one of our very favorite writers. Still, he had something to do with the movie. It may be good. And even if we hate it, we'll always have the books, radio play, and TV
Yeah, nothing can diminish any of that. And like I said, I am very much looking forward to seeing the movie.
Right. Now... unless there was anything else to discuss, I think it is high time we said oyasumi...
Well, last night's Lost special was kinda disappointing, nothing about flashbacks or secrets or clues or... Oh, I mean, yeah... Oyasumi, Momoiro-san....

Dude, you look bummed today. What up?
*sigh* Stayed up last night and watched FMA. Did you see it?
Not yet, got it taped though. Why?
It just made me cry. Alot. And later swear revenge on the Homunculi for what they did. I won't spoil it for you, though.
A'ight. So, you watch the other stuff?
On Adult Swim? Nah, went to bed after FMA. Still gotta watch my tape of various other things, too. Got the day off tomorrow, but I fear it'll mostly be spent catching up on taped shows.

by bakawaii
5-01-05
I reckon you'll be taping stuff tonight, too.
Yep. Gotta tape Enterprise and Desperate Housewives, since I play on watching cartoons on FOX from 7 to 10. I heard even Malcolm's getting animated.
Woah. Can't miss that. First night of Animation Domination. Not so much looking forward to American Dad, but the return of Family Guy should be cool.
Right. Well, anyway... I watched Mew Mew Power this morning.
Me too. It's seeming more and more like Sailor Moon all the time. Like, my favorite girl is the shy one. In this, it's Bridget, in the other, it's Ami.
Exactly. Plus, it looks like now the 5th Mew Mew will be a star. Kinda like Sailor Venus, eh?

by bakawaii
5-01-05
Totally, man. Dude, though... I dunno about this show... I like it, and I like the girls, what is it about them...?
I know they're too young, but... they're just so... shiny. Of course, this new Mew Mew is older... so she's alright.
I guess. Anyway, what else? Oh, Rave Master last night... Cool to see some background on Resha and also Shiba. And those knights or whatever.
Yep... but look, I gotta head to work...
On a Sunday? Damn. Well, see ya, man.
Yep... Shame neither of us gets paid for this gig...

by bakawaii
5-03-05
...So Sunday I flipped my Ladies of Anime calendar to May, and it was the same girl as April! Pretty similar picture, too, same kimono and everything. Pretty weird, huh?
I guess so. Who was it?
I dunno. Most of these girls are from anime I've never seen, alas. But it's okay. Anyway... I just started my third game ever of Pokemon Sapphire. I wish I could find a memory card for the game...
Hai, I know what you mean. It sucks to have to lose a game forever when you start a new one. Unlike earlier games....
Yeah, I used to always save my favorite games of Pokemon Silver in case I ever wanted to go back to them someday. Not that I often did, but it's nice to have the option.
What kind of pokemon did you have in your second game of Sapphire, the one you just lost when you started over?

by bakawaii
5-03-05
A buncha dragons. Flygon, Altaria, Milotic (not a dragon, but dragonlike), Tropius (also vaguely dragonish), Salamence, and Rayquaza.
Most impressive lineup, bakawaii-senpai.
Oh yeah, that reminds me, I called myself bakawai in the game, though I only had room for one "i," I'm afraid.
Ah. And how about this new game? What pokemon this time?
Well, my first game I started with Mudkip, my second with Treecko, and this one with Torchic. Also I got a Surskit and Slakoth. I think Slakoth is the only one who'll stay in my party.
Isn't its Truant ability annoying, though? Only moving every other turn?

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Yeah, that's why I'm gonna give it an everstone when it evolves into Vigoroth. The middle evolution doesn't have Truant, like Slakoth and Slaking.
Good plan. What others do you hope to catch?
Welp, I had a Beldum at the end of my last game, which I wanted to evolve into Metagross, but I couldn't trade it to the start of this game, unfortunately, so I had to lose it, along with my dragons.
Maybe you should get another GBA or even a DS, and a copy of Ruby, so you can trade between the two when you start new games.
That'd be swell, if I could afford it. But I suppose someday, in the distant future, I will. Especially since there are also Ruby-only pokemon I wish I could catch, like Shiftry, for example.
Maybe you could just trade with friends.

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Well, most of my friends don't play pokemon, I'm afraid.
This is a shame. Perhaps I shall bring my game to work sometime and we can trade. I trade with Benny-san, sometimes.
Yeah, that'd be nice. Though I still wish I could afford more stuff of my own. Meanwhile, I'm planning on catching Torkoal, Whiscash, Dusclops, Absol, and Walrein.
Or the unevolved forms of some of those, I presume.
Well, yeah. Anyway, after making my list, I realized none of my desired pokemon can learn Fly, so-
Yo, sorry to interrupt, guys, but you gotta get offstage, dude. The show's about to start!

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Konnichiwa, Ohio! Kenpou kinenbi omedetou!
Hai, that's right, it is Constitution Memorial Day!
Good thing we remembered Japan has a Constitution, eh?
Hai. Now enough about that! Benny-san, do you think you could trade pokemon with bakawaii-senpai?
Be glad to, Momoiro-san. Except there's one glaring flaw with that plan, but it's something we must never bring up...
Oh, hai. That flaw. I forgot about that. *sigh* Sorry, bakawaii-senpai!

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Well, let's see. What news is there? Sunday was the start of Animation Domination on FOX. King of the Hill was alright. Malcolm wasn't animated, as I'd heard, just some interstitial clips were.
Hai, that seemd rather pointless.
Right on. Then two eps of Simpsons, which I don't watch much anyomre, since it jumped the shark. But the first one with Ray Romano wasn't too bad. Didn't pay much attention to the second, though.
And then the main part of the evening, the season premiere of Family Guy, and the series premiere of American Dad!
It was truly great to see a new ep of Family Guy, and I'm looking forward to more of it. American Dad I thought was a bit better than the post-superbowl preview ep...
...but still not nearly as good as Family Guy, alas. *sigh* Oh well, at least it's nice to have Family Guy back in production. Domo arigatou, Adult Swim and DVD!

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Well, let's see. What else? There's some new show coming to 4KidsTV this weekend, Alien Races or Racers or something. I think it's just 3 eps. It'll probably suck, but I gotta check it out, anyway.
Such is the duty of an animation lover.
Yep. And I'll be here next week to let everyone know how the first ep was. More importantly, Saturday, May 14, 11:30pm is the start of Samurai Champloo on Adult Swim!
Hai, we have certainly been looking forward to this. Of course, it is sad that there is only one new episode each of Fullmetal Alchemist and Stand Alone Complex until September.
Yeah, and there's some serious tragedy going on in both shows right now. I can't even talk about it, it just makes me too sad, and too mad...
Understood completely, Benny-san.

by bakawaii
5-03-05
On a brighter note, May 14, or technically May 15, at midnight, Adult Swim airs the first Inuyasha movie. I'm way looking forward to that!
Although, of course, it is set between seasons 2 and 3, and we are nearly at the end of season 4.
Yeah, we'll have to think backwards when we watch it, I guess. And the second movie, which is set near the end of season 4, should be on Adult Swim sometime this year, though I'm not sure when...
Well, no doubt we'll be here to announce it when we find out...
No doubt. Oh yeah, also, I picked up the new issue of Anime Insider the other day. It's going monthly now, instead of bimonthly. Hope I can find the time to stay caught up on my reading.
Not to mention affording to buy it twice as often...

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Ya got that right. Anyway, I haven't read past AniMail yet. I noticed the letter Dave sent after the last issue wasn't in there. Sorry about that, buddy!
You know, bakawaii-senpai was telling me the other day that he planned to become President of the World someday...
Common knowledge.
Hai. But now he wants to have his picture taken holding up the magazine at his inauguration, so he can get it published in the Fan-Demonium box.
Woah, coolness. I wish him luck with that. Anyway, the main article this month is about Stand Alone Complex's 2nd gig, but I don't think I want to read it.
No spoilers for you. I feel the same way, Benny-san. But I'm not sure. Well, even if I don't read it now, I guess I'll read it this Autumn, when the new season starts.

by bakawaii
5-03-05
So, I think that's about all I've got, for now. Are we forgetting anything, Momoiro-san?
Hmmm... Desperate Housewives was good, as usual. Oh, did you watch Sunday morning cartoons?
Yeah. Dave was saying the Mew Mew girls are shiny... and it's true, if you watch the show, they have a sort of gleam about them, like they were made of porcelain, or laminated, or something. I dunno.
Well, people on various animes look like that. It's weird. But strangely appealing, I know.
Yeah well. I begin to feel a little weird just talking about it. Anyway... One Piece was also good, I guess... Nami's seeming slightly less evil... the show still keeps whiting out, though...
Well, I'm glad and sorry to hear that, Benny-san.

by bakawaii
5-03-05
Also, part 2 of the mirror universe story on Enterprise was good. Not quite as good as the first, but still. We got to see a Gorn. And in the first part, we got to see a Tholian.
How interesting.
Yeah, they both looked way different from in TOS, so much that I really didn't buy it, especially the Gorn. But at least they looked less cheesy.
Again, I'm sorry and glad to hear it.
Yeah, and the final scene with Hoshi was cool. Left me wanting more, but we won't be getting more, alas.
Ah well. Perhaps Linda Park will get roles on better shows, now. Or movies. Meanwhile, that's all our time for today. And Dave has to get to his real job. So, sayonara!

by bakawaii
5-05-05
Kodomo no hi omedetou, Benny-san!
Happy Children's Day to you as well, Momoiro-san. Although since neither of us has kids, I dunno how much fun it'll be. We can't even fly koi nobori!
I know, everybody loves carp windwocks. Oh well, at least it is also Cinco de Mayo.
Si, and that we can celebrate with a little cerveza. Dave promised to bring some in today, but he totally punked.
Hai, it is a shame. Also he was complaining earlier that his mouse wasn't working well, so he switched it for a different one, which works, but then he complained it has no wheel.
Gripe gripe gripe, with him! Sheesh, and he doesn't even bring the cerveza? Why do we keep him around?

by bakawaii
5-05-05
Well, he did bring in that box of Teen Titans Hero Pops! Those are delicious and refreshing. Especially since the weather is improving again.
Yeah, but it ain't warm enough yet. Also, Beastboy, Cyborg, Starfire, and Robin all have flavors, but there's no flavor for Raven! What a gyp!
Hai, but that is not bakwaii-senpai's fault.
Yeah, I'm past blaming him for stuff. Try to keep up. Now I'm just griping in general.
And to think, a minute ago you were upset about him griping.
Meh, I was just making conversation. Just as I am now. Griping's fine and dandy. Still... not giving Raven her own popsicle flavor ain't cool. But at least she looks good on the box.

by bakawaii
5-05-05
Anyway, what has been on television. Hmmm, Lost and Smallville.
Both good eps last night, but... nothing special. I liked them well enough, but, meh...
I see. Well, Eyes wasn't on. That was disappointing.
Yeah, some shit about some guy accusing Paula of misconduct, I dunno, I didn't watch. It wasn't worth bumping Eyes. Whatever, I went to bed.
bakawaii-senpai said he played more Sapphire.
Yeah, he would. He also said when he went to bed he couldn't get to sleep for hours and hours. Worse than usual. And he's usually not great at getting to sleep...

by bakawaii
5-05-05
But, at least he got a few hours. *sigh* Benny-san, this episode is so boring! What say we end it early?
Just let me see if I can think of anything else to say...
According to bakawaii-senpai's homepage calendar, today is also Ascension Day.
Yeah, he puts all kindsa crap on his calendar that nobody cares about. Not even him.
Hai. ...Two episodes of the O.C. tonight, I think. Season finale of Smallville next week. Anything else?
Nah, that's all I got, too. Damn, today is boring. We're wasting valuable airtime. I think I'll go read or something. Sayonara, kids!

5-05-05
Dude... I just found out the Inuyasha movie moved to May 21, replaced on the 14th by Metropolis. Should you mention that on the show, do you think?
Dude, I don't think our viewers care that much.
Oh. So how about all the other anime premieres coming up? Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, s-CRY-ed....
Nope, they don't care. Sorry.
So I bet they really wouldn't care about the Life and Times of Juniper Lee, huh?

by bakawaii
5-05-05
Prob'ly not. And before you ask, I just read your blog, so... if you're thinking of mentioning DVD releases of stuff like Gunslinger Girl or the new Full Metal Panic...
*sigh* I know, don't bother.
Anyway, dude, why do you even torture yourself? You can't afford that shit. And you haven't even seen the old Full Metal Panic yet...
I know. Hey, I'm listening to Mp3s, since I finished listening to my Cibo Matto CD. How bout you?
Nada. Look, I gotta get to bed. You should too. You said you didn't get enough sleep last night.
Yeah... I thought I might watch my tape of tonight's O.C. first... since I was working before... And I'm enjoying some raspberry ice Crystal Light...

Um. Maybe you should've saved that for a product placement on the show.
Maybe. Anyway, I feel bad if our viewers get the wrong info from us and we don't correct it...
Fine, maybe I'll mention the Inuyasha/Metropolis thing on the show. You're the producer, it's your call.
Yeah. Also we really should try to work on making the show a little bit funny...
Let me think... "What do you call a seven foot suit of talking armor?" "Alphonse Elric! Pa-dum-pum!"
*sigh* Okay, if you don't want to be funny, I guess I won't like, force you, or anything....

Welp...
You know, mostly J-pop. And there's this weird "Dragonstea din tei" thing I dl'ed a few months ago after one of my cousins told me to look for it.
Yeah... some fun. Gotta love the mp3s. Go to bed already, dammit!!
Sorry... Oyasumi, Benny...
G'nite, Dave.
He's not a bad guy, but... Damn. It is so not fair that he's real and Momoiro and I aren't.... *sigh* Lives are wasted on the non-fictitious.

Konnichiwa, Momoiro-san. Well, we haven't been on for awhile. Among the various reasons for that is that for the past few days, our producer has been a bit under the weather.
Which is odd, considering how beautiful the weather has been, of late.
True dat, definitely about warm enough now! Anyway, Dave hasn't been working on the show, though he does still schlep himself to his real job...
And even now, he is not here! It's just you, me, and the crew.
Maybe we'll actually get a few of the donuts, for a change.
I call dibs on the bismarck!

Those are the ones with both jelly and creme filling, right?
Hai... although I have heard they can just have jelly. Those I would call "jelly-filled" or simply "jellies." If I say "bismarck," I definitely mean it has to have both fillings.
Right on, I feel ya. Boy this is a stimulating conversation we're having, today! Damn fine television, I must say!
Oh, Benny-san....
Anyway, it's not entirely outside the realm of possibilities that some of our viewers might recall my earlier having said that the first Inuyasha movie airs on Adult Swim on May 14. This is wrong.
Hai, instead it airs on May 21. May 14, the anime film "Metropolis" will air at midnight. This is right after the 11:30 premiere of "Samurai Champloo."

Hells yeah! I been lookin' forward to that for awhile now. It is so gonna rock!
Hai, I too look forward to it. Another correction we should make is that this week, apparently, is not the season finale of Smallville.
Right, I coulda sworn that's what they said, but today I come to find out it ain't till next week. Course, Dave's gonna miss tonight's Smallville...
Hai, he told me it is a shame he does not feel sicker than he does, so he could call off work, thus taping one show while watching the other.
Yeah, he's gonna tape Lost while he's working. ...Now if it were me, I wouldn't wish to be sicker, I'd just wish not be scheduled today in the first place.
I suppose this is further evidence of bakwaii-senpai's pessimism; even in his wishes, he can't believe in a perfect solution.

Welp, what else is there to say? Nice to have the real Trance back on Andromeda. Duel Masters continues to entertain with its pop culture references....
Hai, I couldn't believe last week they mentioned "Queer Eye." It's a kids' show!
And yet we watch. Gosh, Dave is lucky to have us for friends!
Hai. Hmmm, we must catch up with the week! We're on Saturday... what about Adult Swim?
End of new eps of FMA and GitS for awhile. Good shit, can't wait for their return in September.
Me neither. Inuyasha continues new episodes, however, plus there are new animes coming to Adult Swim. Champloo this week, and two more on May 28...

Right, "Paranoia Agent" and "s-CRY-ed." Should be fun to check thouse out, too. Now, Sunday... hmmm. I can't think of anything to say about that.
Nor can I. Same with Monday. But yesterday was another fine episode of Gilmore Girls. How amazing that our favorite townie, Kirk, has just shy of a quarter million dollars!
Right on, I knew we were backing the right pony... Plus Sookie had her baby, Luke's getting the house... etc. Can't remember the whole show, now... But what about the season finale of Veronica Mars?
Oh, it was the best! Finally the biggest mystery solved, plus we learn that Keith is really her father! Of course, it leaves us with a few tantalizing cliff-hangers...
Right on, and what kind of mystery show would it be if it didn't? Damn I'm glad this show's coming back for another season...
Hai, me too. Well, I think now we're caught up with the week. Once again, we have done little of any use with our airtime...

Yeah, sometimes I think we haven't lived up to our original potential... But at least there was one early promise we've kept.
And what is that, Benny-san?
You and I still switch places every episode!
Ah, hai, if nothing else, we have that. Surely, that is an accomplishment worthy of... well, of everything.
Yep yep yep yep... time well spent, my friend.
Well, speaking of time, that's all we have of it for now. Sayonara, everyone, and get well soon, bakawaii-senpai!

Konbanwa! Benny-san, do you know what we forgot to mention on our last show?
I got the memo from Dave, yeah. We forgot to mention that Rave Master sucked, because it was about the ever-annoying Griff. And Plue, who's just a bit less annoying.
Hai. Although the bit at the end that included humans was okay. When Plue knocked that pudding away.
Right. Kinda funny. Also, we forgot to mention Desperate Housewives. We finally learned the truth about plumber man.
Oh, I hope he and Susan will get back together now!
Could be. But there could still be problems. Also, Martha's sister is taking Zack away from Paul. That should be interesting.
