Well, you marked this answer wrong. I'm certain the answer is "metre".
You spelled it wrong. It's "meter".
I was using the proper english spelling of the word.
Well, this is AMERICA, and in AMERICA we spell it "meter".
Really? I thought we spelled it "yard".
