| i hate checking my mail. usually it's threatening letters from some government agency. | |

| yesterday i sent in the gas and electric bills, maybe in time that they won't get shut off. | |

| today i get a letter from social security. | |

| it turns out that i havent worked enough in the last ten years to qualify for disability insurance. | |

| the reason i havent worked enough is that i'm disabled and can't work. | |

| but if i can hold out till i'm 62, i could get $292 a month. if they still have social security by then. | |
