regular readers of this strip - as tho there were any- would recall i spent the last year angsting over a memo that in the end never got written.

won that case anyway. now, i have some work to do to catch up on cases that just sat around while the other one was more important.

i'm a lawyer, but i stopped taking new cases 5 years ago due to emotional problems. i have a few odds and ends to wrap up before i can get out of town.

| so anyway last night i went to the state fair. fried foods, ponies, saw the lt. governor auction off a steer, $12,500. | |
