| tuesday and wednesday i worked. brian is at the house. thursday i visited with tommy, got on the road to the east coast around 5 pm. drove all night. | |

| 2 cups of coffee, $100 gas. friday morning i got to delaware. took the turnpike some of the way to avoid hills. hung out at coffee shops. cheapest hotel i could find was $80. | |

| alarm is set. it's 2 am. tomorrow it's chirch at 11, lunch at noon, gravesite at 1. it's a memorial service for my mom. nephew has covid so we are not all meeting at the house; we each have hotels. | |
