does it seem fair to you that a chinese food delivery man carrying $20 worth of general tso's chicken should get the same tip as a japanese food delivery man carrying $20 worth of sushi (2 rolls)?
see, I think the weight matter less than the distance
same distance from the chinese food place and the japanese food place
its not like a waiter -- with a waiter the bill is usually more because there are more people which means more work, or its a fancier restaurant which means they serve you better
but not only is the distance the same, but the japanese food is lighter AND more expensive
same distance and same price and you're ordering less than fifty pounds of The General? tip the same. if he had to carry The General in a bucket, it would be a different matter.
