...so I spent the night in jail and that was that.
She didn't press charges?
No. Apparently she and her family decided that it would be emotionally damaging to go through a trial.
Oh, yeah...I guess that makes sense.
In any case, the whole experience really taught me a lesson.
I hear ya.
