Modern Religiousity (False) Sorry dude, I'm not buying what your selling. Excuse me young man. if you will be a member of my church and do the religious things I tell you to do, and give me your money, then God will accept you.	The Truth Dude I am really bummed out. My life totally sucks. I have all this guilt that I can't get rid of. What do i do? Nothing you can do, man. It's too late to do something religious to make it right. You can't undo your sin.	Continuation of the Truth What do you mean it's too late?! There's gotta be something that I can do to escape the fires of hell that I know I deserve! Jesus already did all the good works that God requires for you to escape hell and get into heaven. Just believe that and you are saved.

That's all?! There's got to be more to it then that. Nope. Jesus lived the life you failed to live. He lived perfect, then He willingly gave Himself to die on a cross and shed His blood for your sins and mine.	Keep going dude! This is good. That one offering on the cross was enough to forever satisfy God's justice. God is satisfied with the sacrifice of His Son. If you are satisfied with it, then by faith you too have peace with God.	I believe, man! I always thought that I had to be a good person so God would let me in but now I hear that it's not what I do, but what Jesus did for me. That is just thrills me! That's awesome dude! If you believe that, then you are saved. Saved from hell, saved and free from this present evil world, the flesh, from sin, and from the devil.

Truthseeker Hey Brad. Let me ask you a question. How do you think a person gets to heaven? Well Bill, I believe that the religion you choose doesn't really matter as long as you're sincere and do the best you can.	Truthseeker Were you sincere and did you do the best you could, even this week Brad? Be honest with me now. Well, I tried. We're all sinners you know.	Truthseeker Yes, but did you sometimes sin when you knew you shouldn't, and could you have decided not to do it? Ahh...

Truthseeker Seriously Brad. Could you have done any better? If you could have, then did you do the best you can? I guess I haven't.	Truthseeker So by your own mouth, you just condemned yourself because you said to get to heaven you just do the best you can, and you haven't. God's going to forgive me right?	Truthseeker Why should He forgive you if you don't stop your sin? Your right. You got to repent of your sins.

Truthseeker That's right. Stop sinning completely. Repent of all your sin. God wouldn't require us to live that narrow would He?	Truthseeker The bible says that there is a narrow way and few there will be that find it. But I can't do it! I'm addicted to all this sin and I've tried to stop but I can't! Truthseeker God made another way! God sent His Son to die in your place on the cross. God made Jesus to be sin for you. He placed your sin on Him. Go on...	Truthseeker God did that so He could forgive you and place Jesus's righteousness to your account and do it as a free gift. Ok. So what do I do to appropriate this?	Truthseeker You don't do anything. It's already done. You just believe it and God will count you as if your were perfectly righteous. Well that is great Dave! That's the best news I ever heard! I'm free!
