Ok, here's the deal.
I'm going to be traveling for a while, and will be out of login range, so you won't be able to enjoy any of my submissions, and worst of all, when I run away with the CC 45 championship, there will be nobody here to (a) gloat, and (b) run CC 46.
Clearly, this state of affairs could not continue. So I decided to do the world a favor. I would enter CC 45, but throw it in such a way that I would disqualify myself out of even a crabbymercyfuck win.
How would I do it?
I would enter the contest before the rules came into existence (ask any cowboy -- this does not defy causality). If for some reason, my entry failed to conform to the rules, the tragic result described in Paragraph 2 would not come into being. And just in case I did wow y'all with my precognitive powers, it would just be a quickie comic I'd thrown together, and probably not worthy of the Championship, although of course most of you would be so wowed by my precognition, that you'd be kowtowing before that comic and putting it on your refrigerators and branding it on your donkeys.
So I put together my contest entry, a little thingie called Goldilocks and the Three Bots, and hit the Save button.
The submit page went 404.
I tried it again.
Same result.
Goldy was not going to see the light of day, not that this should have been surprising given that it was around 11 PM. So we have to bring in a second form of extrasensory perception. I ask of you, use your clairvoyance. Use your telepathy if you prefer. But visualize my nonexistent comic and laugh your ass off.
And then telepathically acquire and conform to my CC 46 rules.
