I read that a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure it's true. Back in college I used to check out alt.tasteless and there were loads of people who reveled in grotesque stories like that.

I read this thread last night, and started on Dreamcatcher, Stephen King's most recent novel (my wife bought it on special for me yesterday). This morning I read the part of the story in which a minor walk-on character essentially shits an alien, horribly rupturing his anus in the process.

That's the kind of coincidence I do NOT need.

After reading the Bob story, I found myself fascinated by those thermal pump carafes in Starbuck's. Finally my will to resist crumbled, and I seized one and crammed it up my ass.
