I suggest Stripcreator allow users to leave a comment on each of their comics. Dunno if this has been suggested before. It'd be useful for annotations, and it's about the only good part of Create-a-Strip.

I was just thinking the same thing. I could apologise for each of my strips individually and also explain what the hell I was thinking at the time and what it was I was attempting to do.

ps akirajim I love those pics in your sig =)

I don't know if it would save Brad bandwidth or $ to have people host their own comments within tables or something on their own sites. It would be up to users to map to the table from SC...

Next thing you know we'll be Penny Arcade.

If you have to apologise for a strip, you should probably just not write it in the first place. And explanation belongs within the strip itself; if you can't provide sufficent exposition with contextual clues and narration, a three-panel comic strip might not be the ideal medium for telling your joke.

What I'm saying is everyone should do what I do and surreptitiously include apologies and explanation in their titles.

But put me down as being opposed to any feature that allows anyone, author or readers, to attach comments to a comic.

P.S.: I dislike the graphics in Akirajim's sig.

I wouldn't mind having this around to link to the next part in my multi-user series (i.e. chicken crossing the road, serial comics, various team-ups with crabby).

And while we're stealing CAS features, I wouldn't mind a comic book feature.

Well, WE discussed a Comic Book feature many many moons ago, the fact that it was never implemented is the only thing keeping me from screaming "RIP-OFF" at those CAS guys. I would be a hypocrite if I supported any plans to steal ideas from another comic creation website.

I am against:

Comments on comics
Akirajim's sig graphics.

I... uh.... kinda like Akirajim's sig graphics. But maybe that just means I'm frustrated or something.

Are we talking about people replying to comics or are we talking about the author of a comic attaching a note to it?

Replying to comics I think I'm against, other than maybe sprucing up the PM system so that it encourages quick feedback. Annotating I don't really see the harm in, though I'm not sure where it would fit on the page layout exactly.

I agree with evil d--with 6 dialog bubbles, three narration boxes, and a title, there is sufficient space for authors to get their point across.

I'm talking about author annotations.

And as per my sig, ignore the right half if you are offended by a famous hot chick and a famous used-to-be-hot chick briefly touching mouths. Ignore the left half if you are offended by hot lesbian mouth-to-mouth action.
