But seriously, now that I have your attention let me talk about SEX!!

Or not, for in this paragraph here, is the real point of this thread. In the faq it tells us how to do this, this, this, and things like this, this, this and this. Now what I want to know is if it is possible to use these effects in an actual strip.

I am sure I saw somewhere a strip that had a word in italics but until I am sure what can be done I am not going to save a strip with bundles of code in it.

If I try entering the word italic in code to a strip it comes up looking like [|]italic[/|] <- that.

So what if anything can I do to add emphasis to a word apart from writing it in CAPITALS?

kaufman November 5, 2003 8:28 PM	There were a day or two between the time someone found out that images worked and the time they were disabled. Those were interesting times. Do a comic search for "img" to imagine what they looked like.

btw it would be really cool if we could just copy the properties of an individual strip so we can post it's image onto, say another forum. But we can't. Whats up with that?

And before you start saying words like mspaint, upload and photoshop just STOP. I am not Bill Gates/or a comuter nerd (didn't nerd use to be nurd?) and have no desire in learning any skillz, I just want to do things the easy or illegal way.

Probably no hilarity, but it would add a deeper texture to a strip when used right.

Plus, you could have gags such as:

Character 1: "No, really, I'm so happy that Jennie won the essay contest."
Character 2: "Call it a hunch, but I think you're jealous."

Or Michael Jackson's words fading from black to white over the decades.

There would be plenty of possibilities.
