You know, I've e-mailed about donating graphics and someone else told me that he got the same treatment I did--No reply back. Is it a bad e-mail account or does he not like it? I would like to at least get a reply to an e-mail! If you agree with me reply to this!

I looked through my mailbox and don't see any emails I recognize as being from either of you guys, but yes I'm real bad at replying to art submissions. I should probably update the FAQ to reflect this. Sorry about that.

Brad rarely accepts art submissions. They've got to be pretty original, creative, and good for him to put them on here. Look at the DexX stuff in particular. Also, Kaddar.
Original submissions are all that's going to get through, unless you get permission from an original author, and even then it's pretty iffy. I personally think that we should lean toward purely original characters, as they create far less of a licensing headache when it comes to Stripcreator products and such.
When it all comes down to it, it's best to give Brad art that is going to be the site's, belonging mainly to Brad, but partially to everyone who uses the site. Again, some of my favorite characters to use are out of the DexX and Kaddar categories, as well as a few from the "User submitted" one.
I think we need to keep away from adding too many pieces of art that resemble other characters, since that's probably clogging up the bandwith and such, and it's just better not to be repetitive.
I bet that it would be really nice for Brad to have someone really good at coding who could occasionally add stuff like art, that way it's taken off his head, but that's not very likely, if I know Brad well enough.

Actually if my computer is dating these right, I think I made kaddar2 back in november of 2002, so don't hold your breath about getting art added.

You donated it much later than that, however. I don't think your art even got onto the site until early 2003, and Kaddar2 is at the most 5 months old...

actually, kaddar 2 was either 11/11/02 or 2/11/03, so that's about a 3 month gap of me not being sure. I guess I'd lean towards the later one because the files were "created" on 2/11/03, yet "modified" in 11/11/02. I'm not sure how this is possible, but maybe I've got some time traveling abilities.

I'm confused though. I was here in late summer, then gone again for a while, and when I came back, Kaddar2 had been added...

DragonXero, what I'm saying is that I submitted my graphics for kaddar2 in late 2002/early 2003. They were recently added, so getting graphics on the site can take a while.

Yeah, I figured that out. Heh!

Well, the category was added October 2, so it was pretty recently.

BTW, glad you're here with us now man, you bring a lot of the funny, and some awesome characters to the table.

I sent mine a LONG time ago, Brad, when I was still BDD, so you probably don't have them anymore. They were stick figures basically so I can see you rejecting them, but Dagmar actually has some talent in making these, you should check out her's.
