It's letting me preview (in the test forum) but with no ability to post. Also, I've had problems with it giving me an error screen several times when I've tried to post comics. Not sure if this related. On the upside, it has allowed me to see that what I was posting probably wasn't worth posting anyway. Hmm, time to reflect.

Also I had big trouble in trying to log in this afternoon. I kept getting the detect network settings screen. There was about 15 guests and only one person seemed to be logged-in. On a positive note, my trip to Little China was beset with no difficulties.

I had the posting blight as well today. When it happens it's like the forum does not want to take a post with just a strip in it. I was able to get by it by previewing a written sentence then adding the [comic] tags before saving the post.
I feel somehow it's linked to threads that are close to switching to from one page to page(1,2).

These are problems I kind of want to blame on network issues because I haven't heard complaints from other folks about it and they make pretty much no sense to me programming-wise. Maybe something is blocking you submitting form data to potentially unsecure websites?

I'd say it's possible that a message might not want to get previewed/posted with only a comic in it (because the forums might think the message is empty) except that people post messages with just comics in them all the time. I can't see why it would only affect certain users and only occasionally.

If you can reproduce any of these errors let me know, I'd like to fix it if it's on SC's side.

All seems fine for me at the moment, although I can't connect to the chat here at work, but I'm betting someone got wise to me and blocked me or something.

Scratch that. It just previewed me without the option to post in General Discussion. Hard to say why it would allow me to post in one forum and not another. Is this your way of asking for more money? =)

I used to have problems with things like that, double posting, not being able to use the Java client at work, and what not. In addition to Windows being a steaming heap of elephant dung I'd say Brad is right, one of a number of network protocols or, browser settings are probably to blame.

My best advice is to poke around with Internet Options for a bit, but I suspect that unless you've got an up-to-date browser, it's going to have a bit of problems with PHP on occasions.

I am now prohibited from posting in the CC area. I poked around on my Internet Options to no avail (honestly I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for but I still snooped). I feel like the Incredible Shrinking man.

I had a posting problem myself. It told me I'd posted 10 posts in 30 minutes. Is this a big problem?

It said my account was locked, but like, two minutes later, I posted again, no problem...

It's not a problem when they're real posts. That's a bit of flood protection for jerks. I re-enabled your account when I got an email saying you had been blocked.
