I always thought he was International, like Dr. No...

I always thought he was American, like when he mentions being in America.

I think he is American, but I believe that at the time, he was writing like a Brit (the whole "Git" thing).
I actually wonder about that now.
As you can see, that comic was a LONG time ago.
