This forum is full of rules, so it should come as no surprise that I want to share some of the commonly-accepted ones on this site.

This is not for posting your personal comics that have nothing to do with the contests. Granted, I've never seen that happen here, but I would like to see it stay that way.

Also, it is said in the F.A.Q., but it bears repeating. Don't try starting your own contest until you've been here for a while. If no one enters, don't feel bad. There are already at least four different contests in here and the PV forum. Most people don't really want to join a new contest, especially if it's just a knock-off of the Comic Competition. Of course, there are always exceptions, such as the FTC contest, which seems to have skyrocketed.
But, again, please don't try to start something new unless you've been here a while, and have an amazing new idea for a contest!

I, of course, am not Brad, but I've been here for quite a while. This is not for the regulars, or even some of the newbies. This is for those of you who are a little confused as to where things go. The F.A.Q. is a little unclear on certain things, such as the actual purpose of each forum. So, consider this just an extended F.A.Q.

Soo, this is why we need rules. It's becoming difficult to find the right contest anymore, not to mention, people putting up a new competition before the preveious one is even over. This is getting ridiculous.

And then people are always making rules that get in the way.
