thochaos January 7, 2004 1:47 AM	Up with the other links on the menu bar type thingy? I once had a strip in the top 20 and if more people knew how to get to see (and thus rate these comics) then that could be avoided in the future.

niteowl April 13, 2004 7:14 PM	It's not as if boo's comic is dog meat, it's quite good...as are most of the comics listed. It just annoys me when a great comic isn't recognized as such. You should've seen what I wrote originally, I wasn't quite as...restrained.

You were EvilZak's undoing in my opinion, you drew attention to his comic causing more people to vote on it, I wouldn't say whoever voted it less than good (just because the score dropped, doesn't mean someone said it was "bad") is a "total idiot", you just happened to view the list when EvilZak's comic had received a smaller number of votes making it more likely that the percentage of good votes would be high.

It's certainly not the greatest strip on this site. In my opinion the greatest strip isn't even on that list.

It's a fine comic and deserved the attention, hence the post. I guess I shouldn't have expected all votes to be good, that's a little unrealistic I suppose, considering the way human nature is. You can draw a nice parallel here with a site like hotornot.com.

I saw the list when the comic had 5 votes, with an avg. score of 10...which obviously means that all 5 votes were good, 50 points total. Later on after my post, his score dropped to 8.33, 6 votes. 8.33 x 6 = 49.98. So that 6th vote was a "bad" one. It doesn't mean shit now of course, since there's been a few more votes since then.

MikeyG April 15, 2004 5:40 AM	I am genuinely interested in seeing what Kajun views as the best comic strip here. And I've been browsing through Kajun's comics lately. He's a lot funnier than I want him to be.

Drexle April 15, 2004 10:27 AM	I have to agree with Kajun that the EvilZak strip in question isn't really even the best on the list, and far from the best on the site. As for picking a single best... jeez, how could you? Too much quality on the site to even begin to pick a single one in my mind.

Possibly Gabe's twice plagiarised "The Mystery Machine". It at least deserves to be on the list somewhere. (if I link to it, it'll automatically be posted here, so I can't gaurantee that you'll actually vote on it after reading it)
